Established in 2001, we provide quality accredited training across a range of subjects and are leaders in delivering online training to professionals in Alcohol and Other Drugs work (AOD) and related fields.

New Course Available: Diploma in Alcohol, other Drugs and Mental Health (CHC50408)
The Diploma in Alcohol, other Drugs and Mental Health (CHC50408) is available from $550*. This qualification is suitable to all workers with at least 2 years work experience in the community or health sectors or to those with the Certificate IV in Mental Health or Alcohol and Other Drugs providing services to clients with substance use and mental health issues.

Certificate IV AOD Unit change
There has been a change to the list of available elective units in The Certificate IV AOD course. Please visit the Certificate IV AOD info page to view the changes.
TAE40110 Certificate IV Training and Assessment.
This qualification is the essential level for workplace training. Recently the Training and Assessment training package (TAA04) was reviewed and the updates were endorsed in May 2010.
The new name for the training package is Training and Education TAE10 and the qualification is TAE40110 Certificate IV Training and Assessment and has only 10 Units of competency.

Community Services Training in Victoria
The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations has recently reported, through its online Job Outlook website http://joboutlook.gov.au that employment for counsellors is expected to grow very strongly in the near future. So if you're thinking of improving your skills and knowledge of the mental health and alcohol and other drug sector, now is the right time. Courses from the new Community Services Training Package are available. You may be eligible for subsidised training with Odyssey House Victoria through the Skills for Your Future initiative (conditions apply).
